It looks different because it is different.

A family-owned business

Alex and Kate made their careers in the restaurant industry, and Aliment was born first as a response to the pandemic: while the restaurant industry shuts down, how can we make high-quality pasta that folks can enjoy safely at home? But it was also a response to wanting to create a work environment that had a little more balance in it — can we support ourselves while also having time for our family?

Over the years, the business has changed, and so has our family (we're welcoming our second son into the fold in just a few weeks!). What was born out of necessity is now a passion — showing people what real pasta tastes like, and creating a community of more conscious connoisseurs who know where their pasta comes from and appreciate quality.
